“ When I am in Rio, this place is a must! Hands down the best casquinha de siri, anywhere! ”
“ Feijoada was delicious!!!! I came back 3 days in a row to eat again, again and again. So good it was ... ”
“ On arriving, I left my apartment and this was the first place i found to eat by chance. And I landed on my feet. Its very good. Lovely view of the beach. Good waiters. Good service. Food is decent. I came back every night for my evening meal the whole time I'm in copacabana. ”
“ My wife and I stopped by La Maison for lunch on our first day in Rio as well as our last. We sat outside and enjoyed the views of Copacabana beach as well as the local color streaming by. For our last meal we shared the Brazilian Stew for two that included two Caipirinha cocktails (very potent), a plate of rice with pork rinds(?), and a huge bowl of delicious black bean and pork stew...yummy! We couldn't finish it all. We also enjoyed a few Stella Artois to wash it all down. We finished with a good strong cup of Expresso. Great basic food, nothing fancy, will definitely be back when we return to Rio. ”
“ Enjoyed a fantastic Saturday brunch at La Maison, conveniently located right next door to the JW Marriott where we were staying. The restaurant offers perfect beachfront dining with a gorgeous view of Copacabana's palm-lined promenade. The boys both ordered steak bites (without the gravy) and French fries, which they devoured. I tried a caipirinha that wasn't quite to my taste, but the espresso I had afterward was absolutely perfect - chef's kiss! Service was attentive and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable for the location and quality. The unexpected highlight of our meal was when some street performers stopped by our table and treated us to an impromptu freestyle performance that delighted the boys. This casual, comfortable spot with its stunning beach views and excellent food made for a perfect relaxed brunch experience. Highly recommend if you're staying in the Copacabana area - especially if you're with kids who need a break from more formal dining. ”
